Endorsements


  In 1901 was launched the purple package of Milka chocolate. Amid the purple pack, was seen for the first time a cow in the Alps, at the time still  black and white.
 Why necessarily a cow? It embodies more than any other animal the Milka brand origin: milk from the Alps and the Alpine world. So what got purple cow?
Inspired by the motto "Come you away, remove yourself from all the known", Milka not only coloured the packaging, logo trademark - cow - also received the purple colour, attracting form the first moment the attention over the chocolate.
  Since the 90’s, the cow, the logo’s band is found on all  Milka packages, becoming one of the most successful advertising figures. 40,000 children from Bavaria participated in 1995 at a drawing cow contest, where every third child choose the purple colour. The purple Cow, a symbol of quality, is considered a sympathetic character, believable and full of kindness. Meenwhile,it won  fans worldwide. Milka Cow contributed decisively to the annual sales: about 400 million tablets of chocolate, 30 million Easter Bunny and Santa Clauses and many other fine products Milka milk chocolate from the Alps, around the world.
  The purple cow will remain, over the years, the Milka logo brand.
